PARTNERSHIP: ASSA ABLOY awards the best CLIQ sales partners Die ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH has distinguished its ten best sales partners at the annual PARTNERSHIP event. The top prize was awarded to Cologne-based Schmidt + Meldau GmbH. Coinciding with the international trade fair SECURITY, the festive award ceremony was held the evening before the start of the fair at the Essener Zeche Zollverein. The event theme was a treasure hunt with respect to service and service provision. Enthusiastic visitors followed the diverse event that offered panel discussions from other sectors in addition to the presentation of awards. This year’s event motto was: Changing perspectives means discovering hidden gems. This applied in particular to service gems that partners of ASSA ABLOY can utilise for their future offers. For customers it is an entirely new way to look at the topic of service and service provision. "There are a numerous hidden gems in our partner companies. Of course, we aren't talking about mineral resources, rather services that our partners can beneficially utilise in the future," explained Michael Buchholz, head of the PARTNERSHIP programme at ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH in Berlin. "We always support our sales partner in offering their customers something extra when it comes to advice and service." Appreciation promotes collaboration Part of the ASSA ABLOY PARTNERSHIP programme is the competition in which all competence partners automatically participate. Companies successfully place in the PARTNERSHIP competition based on competence, activity and success. "Naturally we want to reward our partners that are especially committed and successful - because appreciation promotes collaboration," explained Buchholz. This year Cologne-based Schmidt + Meldau GmbH earned the highest marks. "After winning in 2009 and 2013, we are very pleased to win first place in the PARTNERSHIP competition and enjoy recognition for our continuous performance as a competent and service-oriented partner. We owe thanks to our employees and, of course, our customers, without whom this success would not be possible," said Klaus Ahrens, Managing Director of Schmidt + Meldau GmbH. The remaining TOP10 of 2016 were Zweygart Fachhandelsgruppe GmbH & Co.KG, Guett-Dern GmbH, Kilbinger Neuss KG, Löseke & Sohn GmbH, Saarbrücker Schlüsseldienst GmbH, Becker Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, OpenSecure GbR, Knorr Sicherheitstechnik GmbH and Betz & Co. GmbH. Partners benefit from personal support The PARTNERSHIP programme of ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH encompasses a nationwide network of certified partners for mechatronic and electronic locking systems and access management. The collaboration is effectively designed to optimally fulfil customer requirements. Individual consultation and special requirements of customers and end users are currently necessary in multi-level distribution models and are also expressly desired.
