Your Opportunity:

This primary objective of this role is to take responsibility for Traka's European Division, providing overall leadership and strategic direction and delivering operational excellence, driving sales, profits and increasing market penetration.

It will be your mission to:

  • Develop and implement the Traka European strategy and oversee the development of the business plans for your operational units, to drive growth and profitability year on year, developing market presence in more sectors in the various European markets

  • Ensure the technical and commercial support infrastructure is established, efficient  and aligned to support the sales growth in these markets

  • Plan and direct the organisational activities to achieve agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality and legislative adherence.

  • Work with other members of Traka Executive team to develop and implement global strategies for the development of Traka and the wider ASSA ABLOY group.

  • Work effectively across business units and senior business leaders to maximise the full potential of the Traka in Europe, delivering excellent customer service.

  • Represent Traka Europe at the Executive meetings, Board meetings with ASSA ABLOY divisional management  and in wider management forums

  • Recruit, select, develop, motivate and retain the very best talent in the market.

  • Lead, motivate and develop an exceptional management team.

  • Develop and maintain organisational culture, values and its reputation in the external markets and all employees, leading by example

  • Ensure the Business units are managed to the very highest health, safety and environmental standards.

Special competencies:

  • Ability to identify and develop competencies to achieve future business goals.

  • Have a strong track record of P&L business development, with good knowledge of financial, operations and field service areas of a solutions business

  • Have strong commercial and selling skills, including experience and interest in technical hardware and software environments

  • Have the ability to provide accurate short and longer-term business plans for, set realistic milestones and review appropriately.

  • Experience and the ability to initiate and drive continuous improvement activities.

  • Ability to promote and facilitate continuous development of employees within the organisation.

  • Significant European travel will be required and Global travel on occasion.
