Secure doors in nurseries effectively – with the nursery school solution from ASSA ABLOY

The main entrance door in nursery schools poses significant challenges for the responsible carers. Children must not be able to escape, but should always be able to exit the building in an emergency. Simply locking the doors permanently is therefore not an option. For specialist companies, this means finding a solution that meets the requirements of a modern childcare facility, complies with legal regulations and is convenient and easy to use for the people involved. The nursery school solution from ASSA ABLOY Sicherheitstechnik GmbH meets these requirements.

The system is made up of just a few components: In the basic version, it is a combination of an escape door locking system (escape door strike), an escape route terminal and a separate button. The button is mounted at a height that can only be reached by adults. This means that little ones can not unlock the doors unnoticed. In an emergency, however, children can also operate the button on the escape route terminal. An alarm also sounds to ensure that children can not slip out unnoticed.

Wide range of expansion options for added comfort and security

The nursery school solution can be adapted and expanded to suit the individual requirements of the nursery. Security locks can be selected in various different function variants, providing even better protection for the entrance door. The system can also be fitted with a multi-point locking system.

For additional comfort, the system can be expanded with an access control system, which can control who has access to the nursery at what time extremely easily.

Securely into the future

The nursery solution complies with the guideline for electronic locking systems for doors in escape routes (EltVTR). It is also equipped for future legal standards. The system already fulfills the requirements of the new European standard DIN EN 13637.
