With the acquisition of King Door Closers, the Korean door closer manufacturer, the ASSA ABLOY Group has become the biggest manufacturer of door closers in the world with more than 7 million units produced annually.

With King Door Closers, ASSA ABLOY is acquiring Korea’s leading manufacturer of door closers and floor springs. King Door Closers is based in Seoul, it was founded in 1976 and employs approximately 300 people.

With the addition of King, the ASSA ABLOY Group produces a total of more than 7 million door closers worldwide each year and is the uncontested global leader in this area.

ASSA ABLOY offers door closer solutions for both the commercial and residential sectors. The products are certified in compliance with all legal requirements.
